Kate's Kids is a home day care in Janesville, WI that opened June 1st 2011.
I graduated from high school in Janesville in 1997 and went on to UW-Stout for Early Childhood education. The intention was to someday open my own day care. In 1999 I decided to move back to Janesville and start Paramedic school. I worked in Chiropractor's office as an assistant while I went through EMT(2000), EMT-IV tech(2001), and then Paramedic school(2003). I graduated from the Mercy EMS training center as a paramedic. I worked briefly in Walworth County and then for 6 years at the Fort Hospital ER. After much contemplation, I decided to go back to my original passion, childcare. I planned for several months to open the day care and then finally did.
It has been the best decision I have made in a long time. Day care is what I feel like I was always meant to do. I have a true passion for it and enjoy every day.

Kate's Kids logo design was created June of 2011 by the very talented Cayden Williams, 9 years old. This was his first design that he was compensated for. The effort he put into this logo for Kate's Kids is very much appreciated. Many clients comment on his creativeness. Kate's Kids is very proud to have him doing my graphic design work and hope to work with this young man in the future. ;)
